Play Lar’s Adventure
Hello. My name is Lars. When I grow up, I want to be just like Super Mario.
Essentially, that is how the game plays. You bounce around, collect coins and keys, and jump on the heads of things that look like poo to kill them. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not horrible; it’s a solid platformer that is following a good pattern, it just doesn’t do much new.
Well, I take that back. It does do one new thing. It has quite possibly the worst music I have ever heard in my life. And when I say music, I mean one song. The re-mixed repeating propaganda was funny at first, but after going on for about twelve thousand times, it wore on me a bit.
For a game that starts out fairly easy, it gets pretty good; just don’t expect some fun new game. And thank God you can mute the sound, so crank up the iTunes. Lar’s Adventure wasn’t too exciting, but at least there was poo.
6.5/10 – “It’s white, but not transparent”
Dom Says:
I personally like the music, especially the Japanese yelling when you collect the key. Also the style is very smooth, which is great for a flash platform game.
7.5/10 – “If it was a sandwich, I’d eat it”
